It is important to take an A1 category course before you can obtain your license. However, it's not the only one. You also have to pass a practical test.

The lessons also teach you how to discern between opinions, facts, and judgments, and how to improve your ability to think both deductively and inductively. Practical lessons

The course for category A1 prepares the student for a motorcycle practical test. This course is designed for students who wish to ride mopeds or a small motorbike with a maximum capacity of 125cc. The practical lessons include the theory and practice of basic riding skills. The course lasts approximately four hours. Students who want to pass the test must have completed at minimum nine hours of training under the supervision of an instructor.

The practical lessons for the A1 category are divided into sections. The first section is a theory lesson on the fundamental rules of driving. The next section is a hands-on instruction on the road in which the student is able to practice the techniques which will be tested in the Mod 1 test. The final lesson will be a test that lasts approximately 15 minutes. During the test the student will be required to perform various manoeuvres on Federal or country roads. The student will also be required to complete a number of special rides like driving at dawn, during rain or at night.

In addition to the theoretical and practical classes students must also pass a written test. The exam is comprised of 50 multiple-choice questions. The exam must be passed with minimum 41 points. The test isn't hard, but it makes many students anxious. Students must practice as often as they can to feel more confident.

After completing the practical course, the student can take the Mod 1 test and obtain an authorization to ride motorcycles in category A1. Theory test

You must pass the theory test in order to be granted an A1 license before you can begin your training in the practical. The theory test consists of 40 questions, 10 of which are about road safety. The test lasts 30 minutes long and you will only make five mistakes.

Practical test

The practical test is required for obtaining your category A1 license. This includes a road skills test and a safety test. You'll need your own vehicle to take the test, however most applicants rent a motorcycle from a training institute. Before you begin the test, you must ensure that your vehicle is in good working order and that you have all the necessary documents. Ask your trainer for advice if unsure how to prepare for the test.

The first portion of the course is focused on getting familiar with your machine and learning about traffic rules. You must complete 9 hours of practice lessons prior to taking the test. After passing the test, your provisional license will permit you to drive on public roads. It is also recommended to learn the Highway Code, so that you are prepared for the test in theory.
